I'm quite fond of Gryphons. I also like to scribble
in breaks, whilst at work. I started with the eye but
had no real idea how it would evolve. I liked the
sketch so I scanned it and footled around in
Photoshop with colour.
Maupax is a small house gryphon, prone to
squealing in alarm at the slightest provocation. He
is perhaps a little larger than a lynx. I think it
quite possible that the sink is overflowing
somewhere, hence his alarm. (Maupax can turn taps on,
but has difficulty turning them OFF.)
